Being a vet is a wondering vocation but sometimes when it comes to diagnosing and treating your own pet – it can be a little tricky. I’ve recently diagnosed my cat Herbie with IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) and will be starting treatment to see if his stinky diarrhea resolves (to add insult to injury – he won’t cover his stool – he bolts out of the litter box like a rocket leaving a smell that is just indescribable!).
I was having a difficult time explaining what IBD is to my fiancé – and I came across this blog from another veterinarian.
